We’re proud to support the Soft Plastics Recycling initiative.
This is all about informing New Zealanders about how to keep plastics bags and packaging out of landfills.

We encourage consumers to help give our bags a second life!

Collect all the soft plastics which you use at home (including  frozen fruit and smoothie resealable bags),
drop them into a Love NZ Soft Plastics Recycling bin at participating stores.
Once the soft plastics are collected they are sent back to Australia where they are made into park benches and fitness circuits for playgrounds until there are facilities in NZ that can process these products.
“Soft Plastics” refers to any plastic that can be scrunched up into a ball, for example: bread bags, frozen food bags, confectionery and biscuit wrap, chip bags, pasta and rice bags, courier envelopes, shopping bags etc…
